Alex Hunter was the first child in his school year to be given an adult library card. He borrowed The Rats by James Herbert and began dreaming of giving other people nightmares. 

Alex is a member of the Horror Writers Association, and his short stories have featured in numerous anthologies. His debut novel, The Harvest, was published in 2025, and his second, The House That Screamed, was published in 2026. His third novel, The Forest Remembers, will be published in 2027.
