It's been a busy time in my writing dungeon, with various new projects taking shape.
First up, edits are complete on my folk horror, The Forest Remembers. I'm immensely proud of this story and cannot wait to share it with readers in 2027. Expect much darkness and lots of trees and fungi.
'The House That Screamed' surpassed expectations and reached number 5 on Amazon's US Horror chart on release. It's continued to chart and has been in the top 100 since launch. I've had messages from readers as far afield as Australia about the book.
So... I've written the screenplay and am now in the process of pitching it to producers! This was a fun challenge and I made the decision not to have the book with me, as I wanted the adaptation to be its own beast.
I'm pleased with how it developed. It's seriously spooky, a bit gnarly and also very funny in places. Here's hoping 1123 Jefferson Street, Furball and the Mud Baby find their way to the screen.
Now I need to decide what to do next...
